Green & Sustainability

I’m the daughter of an environmentalist hippie chick, and I grew up on a Christmas tree farm, so it’s probably needless to say that I’ve always had a strong interest in environmental issues. I began writing seriously about green and sustainability issues after hearing Bill Clinton speak passionately on the topic in a speech at my alma mater.

Since that day I have had the good fortune to get involved as a founding intern with the startup company CareerEco.com, a green and sustainability jobs board, and to meet many up and coming green professionals at events such as GreenBuild 2008, an expo of all things sustainable building.784551_mountains_2

With my green and sustainability articles, I strive to make going green fun and accessible for even the most curmudgeonly ex-polluter.
