My rates average $40-60 per hour depending on the project. Projects involving history or genealogy writing are eligible for a discounted rate.

Blogging - $50/post (500-1,000 words)
Social Media Management - $50/hour or per agreed upon deliverables
Article Writing - $.10-.22/word
Book Editing* - $60/hour
Discounts are available for long term projects and bulk work.
*My book and document editing rates are based on a formula where I sample 2 pages from the beginning, middle and end of the work to be edited and then provide a quote estimating the time it will take me to edit the book. In general, I have found this method more fair than a per page rate.
